Server rules

Preamble

The following rules apply to both Minecraft and Discord for the Sunrise Network server.

Sunrise Network is a multiplayer server accessible only with a Premium Minecraft account. The server is located within French territory and is therefore subject to French regulations and legislation.

These regulations aim to ensure a pleasant and respectful gaming experience for everyone. Each player is expected to be aware of and adhere to these rules at all times. This list is not exhaustive: any violation or inappropriate behavior may result in sanctions.

 

Your Rights

  • You are entitled to a respectful gaming environment free from any form of discrimination, insults, or harassment.
  • You can report any abusive behavior, including from a staff member or even senior staff.
  • Your personal information is protected, and unauthorized disclosure is strictly prohibited. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), no personal data can be shared without your explicit consent.
  • You have the right to access the server provided you adhere to the established rules.

Your Duties

  • Exhibit exemplary behavior at all times. Be respectful towards other players and staff.
  • Make a minimum effort with spelling and maintain proper language. The use of vulgarity, colloquial language, or insults is prohibited.
  • Contribute to maintaining a pleasant and safe gaming environment for all.
  • In case of abuse or inappropriate behavior, inform senior staff so appropriate measures can be taken.
  • Respect the topics and languages of written channels.

Prohibitions

In the chat:

  • No insults, even mild ones, are tolerated, whether directed at a player, staff member, or the server.
  • Do not post repetitive or unnecessary messages, nor the same message multiple times within a minute.
  • Any form of provocation is prohibited.
  • Avoid writing messages such as "lag", "it’s bugging", or similar.
  • Do not post messages entirely in uppercase.
  • Advertising for personal projects or soliciting donations is strictly prohibited.
  • Any form of discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) is prohibited.
  • Accusing a player without tangible evidence is prohibited.
  • Impersonating another player is forbidden, in accordance with Law No. 2012-410 of March 27, 2012, relating to identity protection.
  • Threats of DDOS/DOX or similar, whether real or not, are strictly prohibited. Such actions may also constitute a criminal offense under Article 323-3 of the Penal Code.
  • Any action or incitement that could cause server lag or crashes is prohibited.
  • Blackmail in any form is prohibited.
  • Promoting or encouraging the use of cheats is strictly prohibited.

In-game:

  • The use of third-party software, such as cheats, macros, autoclickers, or virtual machines, is prohibited.
  • The use of macros via external devices (keyboard, mouse, etc.) is prohibited, as well as modifying mouse bounce time to less than 8 ms.
  • Any mod that gives you an advantage, such as xRays, is prohibited. However, minimaps are tolerated.
  • The use of VPNs, proxies, socks5, etc., is prohibited.
  • Inappropriate skins, usernames, and capes are prohibited.
  • The possession of duplicated or normally inaccessible items is prohibited.
  • Any attempt to avoid AFK detection is prohibited.
  • Any form of advertising, even indirect, is prohibited.

Notes:

  • Any request for reimbursement (following the loss of items not caused by the player) must be accompanied by video evidence.
  • If a staff member addresses you and you do not respond, you will be considered AFK.
